Conservation Heroes Competition 2018
15 Sep 2018

Do you know a Conservation Hero in your community?

Conservation Heroes 2017 Winners

This month we launched our 2nd ever Conservation Heroes competition in support of the Department of Conservation’s Conservation Week which this year is running from 15th – 23rd September. We started early by opening up entries for the nomination of YOUR community conservation heroes.

If you know someone (or perhaps it’s even yourself) that deserves some recognition for the actions they are taking to help protect New Zealand’s environment, then let us know. It can be anything from cleaning up their local beach through to setting up volunteer groups and beyond!

The competition is open to all ages and the winners will receive a double pass to our exclusive Conservation Heroes eco-safari where they will get to spend the morning searching for marine life in Auckland’s best-kept secret – the Hauraki Gulf Marine Park. On board will be representatives from all of our competition partners as well as some familiar faces from the world of conservation.

Each winner will also receive a goody bag to take away with them filled with eco-friendly samples and products to help them continue on their quest to do good for the environment. Goodies will include products kindly provided for the second year running by CuppaCoffeeCup, GoBamboo, HoneywrapWendyl’s and Rethink.

Last year's event was a great success and much fun was had by all as you can see below!
